There are a wide variety of moths in Honolulu, Hawaii. Most are harmless and add to the diversity and circle of life for other Hawaii pests. The giant Black Witch moth is a particularly impressive species that causes fear and delight in kamaaina and visitors of all ages.

The two moths that cause the most problems in Hawaii are the Clothes moth and the Indian Meal moth, a stored food product pest.
