Powder Post Beetles are usually burrowing into homes from furniture usually sourced from Asia. We’ve seen them in everything from high end doors sourced from China, to Balinese furniture, bamboo mats, candlesticks, and other wood ornamental products made in Polynesia.
These destructive pests can stay dormant for years, and then come out all of a sudden, showing up as small holes in the wood with very fine, flour-like frass, but finer than termite droppings.
