A few years ago in Hawaii, there was a big scare of white-footed ants and while white-footed ants do pose a potential extreme outbreak potential, we really haven’t seen too many. White-footed ants are very similar to glabber ants, except smaller and with these longer feet with of course half of their legs are white.
Like gabber ants, they generally come from the plants outside and are also similarly controlled. liquid treatments do a terrific job for exterior remediation, but again, if there’s any white-footed ants inside, the treatment will need to be well taken care of to ensure control, since these pests divide colonies fairly easily.
Regardless of the ant species, Kilauea has a service that will control the ant population around your property while using reduced impact pest control products and processes. We have a variety of control methods available to provide efficient, responsible, and easy pest control results for all communities on Oahu.
